  12. Looks like Davidia involucrata (dove tree, handkerchief tree, pocket handkerchief tree, ghost tree), Taschentuch-Baum in German! I don't know many places where you can find such a botanical gem.
    I think it's native in the south of China? Where did you take these photos?
    I love this plant, it's really amazing!
